Tritium Inserts??? Autistic Questions, Promising Solutions...

A redditor pm'ed me the other day asking about the internals of the tiny nods. He wanted to know if tritium vials could be inserted. "Idk."

I have one remaining demo tiny nods housing so I decided to just try to tear it open for this guy.

Turns out, you can pop the "lenses" off.

Turns out, the tube housing is two sandwhiched together pieces of plastic with posts.

Turns out, you can hollow out the tube housings then glue the "optics" back on and it will hold everything together.

Turns out, a 3mm x 22.5mm tritium vial will fit perfectly inside the housing.

Between me tearing apart my product and sending pics to this redditor, and his ideas, together we have learned the following:

1. Some light glue is holding the optics onto the ends of the tubes. They can be removed with care and force. Then the individual tube housings can be pried apart into two open pieces.

2. The inner plastic stalks can then be snipped out.

3. 3mm x 22.5mm tritium vials can then be bedded in with glue.

4. The entire thing can then be glued back together and you should have glowing tubes.

DISCLAIMER: I have not tried this yet. I will...in a couple weeks I guess. If you break your tubes I will not refund them because...well...you broke them.

See pics for more details on the above points.

Internal plastic stalks

Front optic/lens removed. Note the marred looking glue.

Both optics removed, tube housing separated, stalks still intact.
